Superb! - Absolutely superb and I recommend Harry's tour to anyone seeking a beautiful and insightful experience.
Harry was professional, knowlegable, friendly and his photography skills were a bonus! He was happy to take pics of us during the night. Harry's local knowledge was a benefit and he struck the perfect balance of sharing information and giving us space to sit in silence under these enormous curtains of light.
The shuttle bus was new and the driver was experienced, friendly and helpful.
I'll be using these guys again when I head back to Tromso.

Book it! You will not be disappointed! - Once in a lifetime experience! Max our guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable. Knew exactly where to take us. The lights were breath taking. Highly recommend this small van tour. Did a different tour another night with a large bus and it was not as great. Smaller group is better.

Northern lights tour Tromso - What a great experience. We had bad weather for our first two nights, and the day of our trip it was so challenging but Max got us to a location where we experienced a beautiful aroura. Max's scientific knowledge on Aurora's was exceptional and he made the trip that much more enjoyable. If you take this trip yet and get on board with Max!

We highly recommend ! - AMAZING !
If you have to choose one expensive tour guide to see the northern lights, I highly recommend Northern Horizon !
We were a small group (only 12) and because the guide is passionate and dedicated photographer, it guarantees you that he will do everything to find the aurora to take the best pictures. We have been extremely lucky with the amazing aurora we have seen but it is thanks to Harry that have found the only place in Tromsø without clouds this night. The pictures he took and gave us for free were crazy beautiful and he told us many stories about the aurora, sami people, vikings ... as well as a small physics class to understand the northern lights ! The kindness and patience the driver Peter and the guide Harry had with us was impressive. You can book with them with no second doubt !

Beautiful Experience - We are literally chasing a clear sky, since it was cloudy during our trip, our guide and driver decided to pass the Funland border to try our luck seeing the Aurelia Borelis. It was a long drive, but it was definitely worth it! We witnessed the Aurelia Borelis in Finland border. While it was not that strong, we still managed to capture some amazing photos.
We sat by the fire, had a dinner (packed instant Norwegian meal), and the fish meal was good! Had some had chocolate drinks, cookies, and roasted marsh mallows.
Our mini bus was clean and comfortable. Our driver, Martha, is super alert on the road, and our guide Claudia was great.
I'm definitely recommending this tour!

Wow! Lives up to the hype! - Herman and Dominic were fantastic! Herman is very knowledgeable about where to go for clear skies and picturesque scenery. I saw a jaw dropping lights show over a fjord and the professional photos he took were INCREDIBLE! If possible, I recommend booking multiple nights to increase your chances of seeing the Northern Lights.

A lifetime experience that you cannot miss - There are thousands of hunting the northern lights tour offered some with very cheap prices. I cannot stress more the fact that it is 100% worth to invest on a tour with Northern Horizon. They are real professionals and look for you to have the experience you dream of. They are really going to chase the lights, they take as long as it is needed and drive you to the best possible place to see the lights. I went on another tour (equally expensive) and they drove us to 3 view points beside the road for 10min each where we could see nothing and drove us back to the hotel. This was not the case here. Harry was monitoring the auroras and the weather, we drove over 2h to find clear skies and then we walked to the forest to have real clarity. He waited with us until the Aurora kicked off and explained us the whole phenomenon. It was simple breathtaking. The location, being in the middle of the nature alone and the magical lights. I would recommend everyone to book with Northern Horizon!
