A Magical Experience! - This trip was one of the highlights of our visit to Tromsø. The scenery in the mountains is spectacular. There was lots of time to feed and interact with the reindeer, and we had the opportunity to upgrade our experience to include sledding. The lunch was good, both the reindeer stew, and the vegetable stew. The Sami guides shared information and artifacts about their culture which was really interesting. Highly recommended!

Incredible day out! - We had a wonderful time on this trip. The bus journey was smooth. The reindeer feeding was very wholesome and there was a fire to warm your hands nearby. We booked on to the reindeer sledging on arrival as an extra, which was 100% worth it even in the snow! The Sami culture talk was incredibly interesting, and it was great to try the traditional meal of reindeer stew.

Nice Wintertime Excursion - Excursion was well organized and executed. Drive was about one hour through some beautiful scenery covered with fresh snowfall. The Sami guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We left with a much better understanding of the Sami culture.

Wonderful experience - We spent an afternoon in the snow with the lovely reindeer. It was a wonderful experience and a delight being able to feed them. We were given little buckets of feed to give them. Some let them feed out of the bucket but I fed them off my hand.
We were provided with a light lunch of traditional Sami Reindeer stew with bread. They provided a gluten-free alternative which was vegetable soup with bread and gluten-free cookies!
The talk about was really informative and we all enjoyed it.

Great tour, well organized and just authentic. - By minibus we have been driven to the reindeer farm with many small stops to enjoy the scenery. There we were allowed to feed the reindeer as much as we wanted. Afterwards we got tea / cocoa and biscuits in a Sami tent with an open fire while listening to the stories and chants of the mega sympathetic Sami Leiulf! A very nice and interesting experience! Thanks or giitu!!!!

Amazing trip - They took us to the reindeer farm in two buses.
First we were able to unload our unnecessary things in the lavvu. Tea, hot chocolate, coffee and a little cake were already prepared on the table.
Our guide explained the program, what time we would have dinner, how long and how we could feed the reindeers. One of a kind experience, we adored it. If you were cold, you could go back to warm up at any time, or you could do it outside by the fire.
Everyone we met was fantastically kind and smiling. They were happy to answer our questions.
We would like to thank Kristian for his knowledge and presentation and stories about his people, the Sami. We left with wonderful experiences and knowledge. The speech in the Sami language at the end of the program made my eyes water.
I am so grateful to have been there.

An excellent experience - not to be missed! - Tour operator was very professional. Overall a fantastic experience with a well thought out itinerary. We didn’t feel rushed. The reindeers are indeed adorable and given plenty of time to mingle and enjoy the experience. Our Sami guide did an excellent job explaining his culture. Although the group size was large - there were 2 buses and the group was split into 2 so we didn’t feel the crowd. Bus drivers drove safely. A really well organised tour. One of our best experiences in Tromso.

Reindeer! - Sami culture and reindeer, an excellent day. Our guide walked us through the needed safety protocols and we were able to feed the reindeer. We were then feed reindeer soup and given cultural information and awareness of the Sami people.
