We visit the site in the morning, right when it opens at 9 am, so we won’t be swamped with tourists. The Mayan Ruins in Tulum are a magnificent seaport fortress built on a steep ocean cliff. While walking around the ruins, you can also see iguanas and coatis (an animal similar to a raccoon).
- Cenote Taak Bi Ha - The underground cenote Taak Bi Ha is situated in the Parque Dos Ojos and is especially suitable for a great snorkeling and diving experience. With crystal-clear waters and spectacular rock formations, it is incredibly beautiful and surrounded by the Mexican jungle.
- Akumal Beach - Guided snorkeling with turtles at Akumal Bay to search for 3 of the world’s 7 sea turtle species and explore the 2nd largest barrier reef in the World.
Important Note: The remaining (2-3,5 hours of tour) will be allotted for the travel time from pick up until drop off.

Magical Sea Turtles and a Less Crowded Experience - We had a terrific tour led by Manny as our guide and Dennis as our driver. They both took excellent care of us, including my 87 year old mother-in-law and our 18 year old daughter. Leaving early was definitely worth it. The highlight for me was getting to see several sea turtles and watch them rise for air. That was magical. Tulum and the xenote were also fun. I highly recommend this company!

Excellent family tour - Maddy and Dennis made our experience special. Our group was diverse in age, 40s, 50s, 18, 86! We all had a great time. Learning about Mayan culture, swimming in cenotes, and swimming in the sea with turtles was very special.
The van we moved in was clean, comfortable and air-conditioned.

The cenotes were probably... - The cenotes were probably the highlight of this experience. Our driver let us stop by an extra cenote before we had to leave.

Family holiday - Absolutely fantastic tour, was so well organised and our guide Ivan was so informative, he took such good care of our family and explained everything, he went in to the cenote to take us through underground caves!!!! . Dennis was one of the best drivers, happy and took care of all our bags.

Private Tour - Went with my family on a Tulum, Turtle & Cenote tour and it was incredible - Ivan our tour guide was knowledge, friendly and funny and we all had a great time with him and our driver Dennis was also extremely friendly & made us feel safe. Cannot recommend Tours with Mike enough. The Tulum ruins were lovely & interesting to learn about, swimming with the turtles was an incredible experience and the cenote was beautiful. Thanks again.

Tulum Tour - Just finished our tour with Ivan to Tulum. The experience was wonderful! Ivan was very knowledgeable about the history of the ruins. Felt like we were touring with a friend. The cenote we visited was such an amazing experience and of course had a great time with Mike our snorkel guide getting to swim with the turtles, stingrays & tropical fish. We finished our day at an incredible local taqueria. Had an absolute blast and would 10/10 recommend Tours with Mike & especially Ivan for a wonderful time!

Perfect day trip! - Such a wonderful experience with Ivan! We loved the cenote and turtle experiences but lunch at a local taco spot to end the day was the highlight. Ivan was professional and accommodating, would absolutely recommend!

A great day with Daniel and Dennis! - Highly recommend Tours with Mike. We absolutely loved our private excursion today with Daniel and Dennis to visit the Tulum Ruins, swim with turtles at Akumal Beach, and explore the Cenote Minotauro. We are a family of five, with kids aged 9, 5, and 3.
We learned so much from Daniel throughout the day about Mayan history and culture, surrounding nature and wildlife, and how to explore the land and sea respectfully and more sustainably. He enthusiastically answered all of our questions and taught us so much, and guided us safely through each adventure.
Having a private tour made everything feel relaxed and intimate, especially compared to large group tours I’ve been on that felt crowded, rushed and less personal. Exploring each location before peak times added to that ease, nothing felt rushed or overwhelming, which made a huge difference with three young children.
Pickup, transitions between activities, and drop-off were seamless. We felt very safe with Dennis behind the wheel, and he took great care of us and our belongings throughout the day. Both Daniel and Dennis were incredibly patient and accommodating as we navigated each experience as a family.
Lastly, and unexpectedly, Daniel took great pictures of our family from each excursion and sent them to me during our drive home. As a mom of three who struggles to get family pictures, I truly appreciated having the memories captured while we all remained present and enjoyed the day.
This was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and we would absolutely book with them again!

The surprise birthday tour - I booked this experience as a surprise for my wife's birthday as she always wanted to snorke with turtles.
We was blown away by the whole experience, it was truly magical and brilliant experience.
Ivan was brilliant from the moment we met him until he dropped us back to the hotel. His knowledge, humour and is such a great tour guide. It was also like having a personal photographer as Ivan took so many photos of us and managed to capture some amazing moments.
Everything was included and the early start meant we managed to see the sites at Tulum before it got swamped by other tours and people. Everything was in our time and Ivan never once rushed us to the other parts of the tour.
We also asked Ivan about lunch and he took us to an amazing taco place. We ate so much and was such great quality food.
I want to thank Ivan for making my wife's birthday such a brilliant and magical day, she loved it and it is one for us both to remember.
The tour is such great value for money and would 1000% recommend anyone who would like to do this experience.

Tulum day with Manny. - We had a great day with Manny. He told us the history of the Tulum ruins, took us to the best cenote, and then got us to the beach to swim with turtles. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He also took and shared great photos of our day. Couldn’t recommend more.
