The journey to Murchison Falls National Park will commence with a lunch stop along the way. A visit to the rhino sanctuary for tracking is included. The trip continues to Murchison Falls, where you will witness the majestic falls and reach the top to experience the powerful waters. Overnight accommodation will be at Murchison River Lodge. -
Murchison Falls National Park - Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
An early morning start with breakfast will be followed by an 8:00 am game drive to spot unique African savannah wildlife such as giraffes, antelopes, lions, elephants, and the Uganda kob. Birdwatching opportunities abound, with sightings of eagles and the rare shoebill. On a clear morning, ask your guide to point out the Congo Blue Mountains. Lunch is scheduled for 1:00 pm. Kibale National Park - Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Swamp walk
Following an early breakfast at 8:00 am, report to Kanyanchu Tourist Centre to begin chimpanzee tracking in the forest. The chance of seeing chimps is over 90%, though not guaranteed. Kibale National Park is one of Uganda’s most beautiful forests, home to endangered chimpanzees, threatened red Colobus monkeys, and rare L’Hoests monkeys. The forest boasts a high variety and density of primates, including black and white Colobus, blue monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys, bush babies, and Pottos. After lunch, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk around Magombe Swamp, offering a chance to see diverse flora and fauna. Overnight stay at Kibale Forest Lodge. -

The approximately 4-hour journey offers interesting features along the way. Arrival in Bwindi is in the evening.
