SUNSET AT THE SALAR DE UYUNI
Uyuni - Guests will be picked up from their hotel or the bus terminal to begin the tour. The first stop is a site of abandoned trains on the outskirts of the Salar de Uyuni salt flats in Bolivia. Located southwest of Uyuni city, just a few kilometers from the center, it is reputed to be the largest railway cemetery globally.
During the journey, various salt eyes will be encountered as we enter the vast Salar. Lunch will be enjoyed along the route. The tour will pass by Incahuasi Island and the Dakar monument. This is where the expansive salt flat offers opportunities for stunning photographs and optical illusions.
As the day ends, the group will head to the water mirrors to witness the sunset, where the sky’s beauty is reflected, creating a seamless horizon between earth and sky. The tour concludes with a return to the hostel.
PULACAYO MINE, COLONIAL CHURCH
Aguas Termales de Polques - The journey begins with a pickup from the hostel around 9:30 am. The tour will pass by the main Pulacayo silver mine, followed by a visit to the Colonial Church. Guests will have the opportunity to relax in the hot springs and saunas. Lunch will be provided along the way.
The tour includes visits to at least three lagoons of varying colors, part of the Altiplanic Lagoons. The day concludes with a visit to the New World Desert, returning to Uyuni city by 6:00 p.m.
