A Journey Through the Clouds

The day began with a sense of anticipation as my wife and I were picked up by Daniel and Eugenio, our guides for the day. Daniel, a masterful driver, navigated the winding mountain roads with a calm confidence that put us at ease. The gardens are a sanctuary for over 100 species of animals, and Eugenio’s connections allowed us a closer look at the creatures that call this place home.

The aviary was a personal favorite, where we had the chance to feed toucans and hummingbirds right from our hands. It was a surreal experience, feeling the gentle brush of feathers against our skin.

As we made our way back, soaked but exhilarated, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to explore such a remarkable place.
