A really great tour guide - The three of us totally loved our tour with Lucia. First of all she is a delight to spend time with- delightful, sweet and knowledgeable. If I go to Venice again I will definitely take another tour with her. Just for the fun of it and the delight of listening and interacting with her. She knows the ghetto well. She greeted and was greeted by many locals who knew her. From taking the tour I got a very complete sense of the ghetto- it's history, why there were so many different types of synagogues, the increased traffic in the ghetto compared to years ago when I visited, why some areas looked better than others. Lucia answered everyone's questions and I was amazed how well she knew the history of Venice and the area. I am so grateful we did the tour with her and not someone else

Jewish Ghetto tour with Lucia not to be missed! - Lucia took us on a very special tour of the Jewish Ghetto (ghettos). From the very beginning, she set the tone as a warm, welcoming, knowledgeable guide. She was enthusiastic about the experience and taught us history, traditions, and shared stories and lore about the tour. While in the ghetto, which felt like a small village, a haven from the busy streets of Venice, she greeted and was greeted by all the locals. The authenticity of meeting the storekeepers, learning, and spending time in a place with such rich history was made more visceral by Lucia's guidance. I would recommend her for this tour (and all her programs) One of our highlights!!

Fascinating, educational and enjoyable - Lucia was simply amazing. Her small group tour was the perfect mix of history, storytelling, detail where needed and not too much that it got heavy. We truly enjoyed our 2 hours learning about the first Jewish Ghetto as well as learning about Venice as a whole. Highly recommend!!
