Don't Miss This Amazing Experience!!! - We had a beautiful day --- weather was mild in early April and the sun was strong, so the boat rides were perfect. Our tour guide was Elena Polin and she was the BEST ever! A long-time native of the area, she knows a lot about the history, people, and culture of Venice and her excitement for the craftsmanship sustained on island of Murano (glass art pieces) and Burano (intricate lacework) was infectious! She was funny and entertaining as well as professional, and made us all feel like family! Elena knew so much and added short stories and anecdotes that made us feel like we had an understanding of the locals' pride in their work even before we'd stepped off the boat! Ask for Elena by name -- no other tour guide will measure up! It was fascinating watching the artisans on Murano as they gave us a snippet of time demonstrating their masterful glass-making skills --- but the best was yet to come as we then "toured" their artworks in a grand museum-like setting and had the opportunity to buy individual and one-of-a-kind pieces by these amazing Venetian artists. Two floors where one piece was more magnificent then the next. Our next stop was Burano island where we were provided a short demonstration of lace-making. Stunning island where the houses / buildings are vibrant jewel colors of pink, yellow, purple, blue, etc.! We had a quick lunch (and gelato) from one of the many delicious cafes and barely had time to appreciate the rows and rows of shops offering exquisite lace items incorporating the work of local artisans. Definitely a 5-star tour! I'd love to go back and spend more time on each island: an entire day spending 3-4 hours each on Murano and Burano would be wonderful alternative to the city bustle of Venice proper. Wonderful craftsmen, beautiful islands, and super-friendly people!!!

Brilliant experience! - This was such an enjoyable trip. Rami the guide was great - friendly, approachable, informative and spoke English really well! The boat and driver were great too - the views of Venice were amazing from the boat and the Venice facts/ history we were told were so interesting. The 2 islands we visited were brilliant. We were taken to a glass blowing demonstration and then had time to visit the exhibition within their shop and then Murano itself, to buy gifts and get an ice cream! Burano was amazing and we had enough time to attend a lace making demonstration and a sit down for a light lunch and visit a few gift shops! We took lots of photos too, of course! Overall, this was a trip we will never forget - it was well organised and great value for money. You must do it if visiting Venice!

Amazing Tour - Serena made our tour unforgettable! As a local, she shared incredible stories and insights that brought Venice to life. Her humor kept us laughing, and her knowledge made every moment engaging. From start to finish, she made the experience completely worth it. She guided us through both Murano and Burano, making the tour even more special. Her passion and storytelling added so much depth to these beautiful islands. If you’re looking for a fun, informative, and memorable tour, Serena is the guide to have. Highly recommend!

Great day trip - Monica was awesome and the boat captain was super smooth navigating as well. Know that the first stop in Murano there are sales pitches at the end. But, the demonstration is lovely and worthwhile. It was nice to be efficiently guided and transported around the two islands. And very cute to see the smaller charmer island living. Great day trip!

A day well spent! - The Murano glass factory was great. We saw the glass blowing process and then had time to browse through the items. It was amazing! The trip to Burano was nice as well. It was low season so not everything was open. We did see how lace is made and had time for a nice outdoor lunch and a gelato. My only complaint is the sounds system n the boat was terrible. Frankie, our host, was very knowledgeable but could not hear anything she was saying. I was very disappointed in that aspect of the tour. Otherwise it was time well spent!

The boat is beautiful and... - The boat is beautiful and comfortable, really nice ride around. Murano has some glass making demonstrations and the same souvenirs as Venice, plus very fancy and expensive glass at the factories. Burano was sunny and beautiful to see the bright colors. It’s mostly retired people and tourists coming to take pictures. Not a lot of restaurants but some.

No go public transport in Venice is quite unpredictable - I arrived 5 minutes late and did not go on the tour. They did not answer my two phone calls. I got nothing for my time and my money. Will not book this company again
