Yummy Cooking Class: A Delicious Dive into Venetian Culture - If you’re looking for a truly memorable experience in Venice, Yummy Cooking Class with Carolyn is an absolute must. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and instantly immersed in the rich history and culinary traditions of Italy. Carolyn is not only a fantastic teacher but also a passionate storyteller. She shared fascinating insights about Venice’s past, local ingredients, and gave us loads of helpful tips on where to eat, shop, and explore while in the city. Her enthusiasm made the whole experience feel personal and authentic. The cooking itself was an absolute joy. We prepared a selection of traditional dishes, each one tastier than the last and learned useful techniques and secrets that I’ll be using at home. The kitchen was beautifully set up, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Whether you’re a beginner or confident in the kitchen, Carolyn makes sure everyone is involved and enjoying themselves. The highlight? Sitting down to enjoy the delicious food we made, with a glass of wine and great company. This class was the perfect blend of food, culture, and local charm. I left full, happy, and already planning what I’ll cook when I get home. Highly recommended, you’ll leave with a full heart, a full belly, and some serious cooking inspiration!

Personal cooking class in a real Venice home - Looking for a personal class where you get to see what's behind the doors of Venice? This cooking class is taught by an award winning chef and gives you a chance to be part of her home for a day. The food is amazing, she uses seasonal ingredients and all recipes are included. I went with my mother in her 70s and my teenagers and everyone had a wonderful time. Carolyn makes sure to give each guest personal instruction at their skill level and everyone got a chance to get their hands dirty and make our shared meal. If you want to experience Venice not as a customer but as a guest, this small group class is perfect. Be sure to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the class to make the most of your booking!

Must do! - What a fun experience! Carolyn was a delight. I brought my 9 yr son with me to Venice and didn't know what to do that he would be interested in. I took a chance, and it paid off. Watching him learn to make pasta was so much fun for me and he really enjoyed the experience as well. I was scared he wouldn't eat it..... but omg in his words "it's so good, I love it" and it was. I really enjoyed this activity. Couldn't ask for a better chef. Carolyn was patient and warm and kind and full of resources. I would suggest you see her first on your trip. She can tell you things to see and do as well. Please book. It's worth it! I plan on coming back with more family to Venice again, would love to do another class with her.

A taste of Venice - Cooking Class with chef Carolyn… what a fun and yummy experience. We learned to prepare a variety of italian dishes (Crema del doge, lingue di gatto, different cichetti and most important… homemade pasta). She explained things well and made steps simple, as well as sharing tips along the way. She was telling these little funny anecdotes and made us feel welcome to her home. Highly recommendable.

Yummy Good - Carolyn is a great chef! We made ravioli, homemade pasta in fresh basil sauce , butter biscuits, with Doge’s cream dessert. She also gave us lots of helpful hints. After we were finished Carolyn had a nice place on her balcony for us to eat our creations.
