- The boat sails on the south coast of Santorini. The catch is usually medium sized Rock fish and Breams. Occasionally bigger fish like Barracuda may be caught. On semi private tours, the Captain will demonstrate to parents and children older than 10 how to use the bait so they can do it themselves.

Favourite Santorini activity! - We did the fishing excursion with Giorgaros Fishing tours in Santorini in May 2022 and we loved it so much that we did it again in July 2025. Both times were exceptional! The crew is so friendly and did a wonderful job helping us fish, teaching us about the sea life, and generally making the trip amazing! Also, the food is delicious! It was a beautiful way to spend a morning away from the heat and crowds.
We highly recommend this company to all visitors of Santorini and we would do it a third time if we return to Santorini.

Incredible and unique experience - a must do! - This is a DO NOT MISS experience! Incredible views and a great way to see the island and avoid crowds and heat on land. The team communicated extremely well and gave fantastic instructions about where to meet. The Captain and crew were extremely friendly and did such a wonderful job teaching my family and I about fishing, with hands on opportunities that engaged all of us. The boat is comfortable and functional. We have done several sailing tours and this experience was in a class of its own with the added bonus of fishing! The lunch feast of the freshly caught fish was amazing. In addition to hosting us and teaching us Elias also took fantastic candid pictures - I can’t recommend Elias and Nikos and their team enough!!

Fantastic- Still smiling months after our trip - Authentic! It was a fantastic afternoon/evening on the water. The easy going nature of the whole group was memorable- especially in todays political world. We were US Americans & had such fun with the Greek crew and Chinese, British and Belgium guests. At first we were tentative but there were no cultural barriers as we swam, learned to hand fish and enjoyed pulling in the nets. Everyone cheered for each others catch no matter the size. Dinner was included in the trip - fresh fish, potatoes, salad - perfecto! The crew even surprised one guest with a delicious birthday cake as it was his birthday. As I think back to our weeks in Greece - it was my favorite day.

Truly Unique Fishing Experience - A truly unique fishing experience that included a live catch and cook with a large variety of local fish. We had a great time fishing and stopped in a beautiful cove for lunch and some snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. Fun and friendly crew with great service!

Great experience with a great crew - Anthi and Mohamed and Elias made for a memrobale experience. We enjoyed dragging the nets in and seeing the variousfish, then we swam and fished while they prepared lunch. The food was excellent. Anthi's knowledge of the sea and fishing was amazing. We learned so much and had a great time. Highly reccomend.

Family Fun - I cannot say enough great things about Anthi and Mohammed. Not only are they super friendly and very knowledgeable they also believe in protecting the authenticity of Santorini fishing. They pulled in nets and taught us how to use a hand line. I love that Anthi gives non-locals the experience of a traditional fishing boat. Truly a great experience and we actually got to eat what we caught. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone that loves fishing.

A lovely few hours spent on the sea - We had a great time and learnt a lot about the sea around Santorini and its inhabitants. They cooked the fish caught that day and we had lovely salads.
