Fun and informative... - Fun and informative driver, extra stop on Laura and Oak alley plantations for drop off of others which enabled us to get a glimose of them too. History at Whitney well told and described. A must!

Fun Bus Travel with Eye Opening Tour - Great Experience all round . Firstly my young children absolutely loved the driver Larry AKA Bam Bam. They’ve been quoting some of his anecdotes word for word since we returned home. Quite amusing to hear two young English boys trying their hardest to nail his accent.
The Whitney Tour was engaging and the handheld devices were probably more suited for children than a guide as they can go at their own pace . The subject matter wasn’t pleasant , but my two kids aged 6 and 8 took it all in and had lots of questions for me and their mother .
I personally think that another 30 minutes would be ideal before the return pick up. The drop off for food at Oak Alley wasn’t something I was aware of, but was welcomed as the kids were starting to get hungry and a bit restless .
If we were to return to New Orleans we’d definitely book with Crescent City again.

Plantation Tour Aug 2024 - Very sad but informative tour. Learned things i hadn't known prior to my trip to new orleans. The exhaustive research shows in each exhibit.

Driver rocked! - The driver made the experience!!! He was awesome! He was knowledgeable and provided tons of information that enhanced the experience. He was personable and made us feel at home.

So glad we did the Whitney Plantation Tour - Before our trip we did a little research on what plantation had more of a chance of educational impact, without the disrespect to the slaves.
The Whitney Plantation was one that focused more on the slaves rather than glorifying other aspects that shouldn’t be.
So much to see the tour was about 2 hours and we could have probably stayed there another hour.
Beautiful art!
Wished a few other stuff could have been open like the big house, blacksmith shop. The girls at the gift shop were so nice.
Bus driver was super friendly and funny.

Amazing grace - Just reading what really happened first hand from slaves themselves. The first hand look at how they lived and the driver was wonderful and gave lots of information.

Highly Recommend Crescent City Tours - This tour and transportation were excellent. The driver was great and gave us great information and pointed out some other points of interest on the way. The audio tour at Whitney plantation was really well done and informative and the location was really interesting to see. 100% would recommend this trip.
Crescent City Tours also has combination trips with airboat swamp tours, which I learned about from the driver. They very kindly got me squeezed into an open spot and let me join the Rajin Cajun swamp tour the same day and it was fantastic as well.
If my schedule permits, I plan to book another tour with Crescent City Tours to go to Oak Alley plantation while I'm here.

Disturbing Experience - The Rebellion display and the Field of Angels were the most memorable exhibits. So many people were abused and murdered at the hand of evil men.... just evil.
You can not be OK with this. I'm not sure why it went on so long. The greed and lack of respect for life is disturbing at best.
There was still so much missing and filtered. Hopefully visitors can understand how despicable the era was and how things have stayed the same.

Disorganized and disappointing - If you need transport to Whitney Plantation, don’t use Crescent City. 6 1/2 hours on the bus, of which we had 1 1/4 hrs at Whitney.
