Whitney Plantation - It's good to know what life was like for families and their slaves at that time. Very interesting. Sometimes sad, but at the same time not hiding the truth of this slave era.

Untold history - Learning more than you knew. Knowing that some people would do anything for the love of money even lose their soul.

Fair price, affordable way to see the Whitney Plantation - Carl (the driver) was professional and punctual. He picked us up and safely drove us to the various plantations, swamps… he also shared short fun facts about some of the sites we were passing through. The van was well arc’s and he drove really well. Thank you.

Fun Bus Travel with Eye Opening Tour - Great Experience all round . Firstly my young children absolutely loved the driver Larry AKA Bam Bam. They’ve been quoting some of his anecdotes word for word since we returned home. Quite amusing to hear two young English boys trying their hardest to nail his accent. The Whitney Tour was engaging and the handheld devices were probably more suited for children than a guide as they can go at their own pace . The subject matter wasn’t pleasant , but my two kids aged 6 and 8 took it all in and had lots of questions for me and their mother . I personally think that another 30 minutes would be ideal before the return pick up. The drop off for food at Oak Alley wasn’t something I was aware of, but was welcomed as the kids were starting to get hungry and a bit restless . If we were to return to New Orleans we’d definitely book with Crescent City again.

Plantation Tour Aug 2024 - Very sad but informative tour. Learned things i hadn't known prior to my trip to new orleans. The exhaustive research shows in each exhibit.

Curious and needing some knowledge of the past - Good experience to see one of the plantations where our ancestors were and some of what they had to endure.

Eye opening experience - It was a eye opening experience, I rated a 4 because of the self guided tour, which it was good, but I would have liked it to be a guided tour from an actual person. Overall, it was a great experience, and our driver Edward was very knowledgeable as we ventured to the plantations. It's definitely a must-see for the one who wants to see what our ancestors went through on the enslaved side.

Disorganized and disappointing - If you need transport to Whitney Plantation, don’t use Crescent City. 6 1/2 hours on the bus, of which we had 1 1/4 hrs at Whitney.
