- Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun) - From the meeting point, the Chao Phraya Express Boat takes us on a brief journey along the River of Kings to the magnificent Wat Arun. Known locally as Wat Chaeng, it is located on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River. This temple is one of Bangkok’s most beautiful and is particularly breathtaking when illuminated at night.
NOTE: At this time of day, climbing the stairs of Wat Arun is not possible, so we admire the temple’s beauty from the outside.
- The Grand Palace - As the Grand Palace is closed at this time, we will only stop outside. It is an excellent spot for nighttime photography, as the palace area is beautifully lit.
- Wat Pho Thai Traditional Massage School - Wat Pho is one of the oldest and largest temple complexes in Bangkok, housing the largest collection of Buddha images in Thailand. It holds the distinction of being the country’s first public education center, focusing on religion, science, and literature.
Currently, it is closed at night, so we will only pass by.
- Pak Khlong Talat (Flower Market) - Pak Khlong Talat is Thailand’s largest wholesale flower market, open 24/7. The name means ‘market at the mouth of the canal’ in Thai. Initially a floating market in the early 18th century, it became a large fish market in the 19th century, and by the 1950s, it evolved into the Flower Market we know today.
- Giant Swing - The Giant Swing is a religious structure that was once used in an ancient Brahmin ceremony. For a quintessential photo of Bangkok, the Giant Swing, or Sao Chingcha, is an excellent choice! It is centrally located in front of the first-rank royal temple, Wat Suthat.
- Chinatown - Bangkok - Bangkok’s Chinatown is one of the largest in the world and remains one of the city’s most authentic and unchanged neighborhoods.
At night, Yaowarat Road in the heart of Chinatown transforms into a culinary hotspot, with numerous street restaurants. The vibrant neon lights and large crowds create a lively atmosphere, distinct from the daytime.
Our tuk-tuk will drop us off here, and we will continue on foot to enjoy a street-food meal!
And of course, no street dining experience in Chinatown would be complete without indulging in a local Thai dessert!
NOTE: Food stalls are not permitted on the street on Mondays. If you join our tour on a Monday, you will dine at an alternative location.

The adventure kicks off with a brief ride on the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Wat Arun. After capturing some photos, the tour continues with a ferry crossing and a tuk-tuk ride past some of Bangkok’s most renowned landmarks. Although temples like Wat Arun, Wat Pho, and the Grand Palace are closed at night, they are magnificently illuminated and can be admired from the outside.
The tour concludes in Chinatown with a delightful street-food meal and dessert.
NOTE 1:
The tour concludes in Chinatown. Returning to your hotel is convenient via metro or taxi (not included).
NOTE 2:
On Mondays, many food stalls are closed for street cleaning, resulting in a quieter Chinatown.
Prepare for an exhilarating tuk-tuk journey through the vibrant and mysterious heart of Bangkok at night!
- Since we will come close to Wat Arun, you are expected to dress respectfully. We recommend you to wear longer shorts (knees covered) and to have your shoulders covered when we enter the temple.
- The guide can only wait for a MAXIMUM of 10 minutes after the set meeting time. After the 10 minutes grace period, the guide will start with the tour.
- Please note that this is not a food tour. While we do enjoy a local street-food meal and dessert at the end of the tour, the focus is on cultural exploration rather than food sampling throughout. Since the meal is served towards the end of the experience, we recommend having a light snack before the tour begins, especially if you think you’ll get hungry along the way.
- On Monday food-stalls are not allowed on the streets, so Chinatown is a less lively than other days of the week.
- Our tuk-tuk tour operates rain or shine.
- Bangkok’s traffic is notorious. Since our tours are on a group basis, we would like to emphasize that you should arrive at the meeting point on time. If you cannot make it in time, please inform us before start of the tour. If possible, we will always do our best to reschedule you to the first available day/start time, but a change fee will apply.
- The tour starts with a short boat ride on the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Wat Arun.
- Duration of the tour is between 3-4 hours.
