Crossing Borders: The Journey Begins

The sun had barely risen when I found myself amidst the vibrant chaos of the Banjul to Barra ferry crossing. The air was thick with anticipation and the scent of the sea, as locals and travelers alike bustled around, each with their own story and destination. This was the first leg of my journey from Gambia to Senegal, a trip that promised to be as thrilling as it was enlightening.

As a wildlife photographer, I’ve always been drawn to the raw beauty of Africa, and this adventure was no exception. The ferry crossing was more than just a means to an end; it was an immersion into the daily life of the region.
