Dover, white cliffs, and Canterbury highly recommend! - It was such a great day! Our tour guide Sam was really knowledgeable, mixed with just the right amount of humor. Sometimes, you get a tour guide that is a little over the top. But Sam was just casually funny and made it a fun day.

Experiences may vary! - We enjoyed the Dover Castle based on other castles we visited. In the Dover Castle, you can touch the stuff other castles forbid you to touch, and you can go into just about any crevice you dare to go into.
We enjoyed the Canterbury Cathedral; there is a lot to see, but the real treasure for us was the town! That was the highlight of the tour for us.
We wanted to see the White Cliffs and we are happy we were able to see them. A lot of photo opts.
We are not sure you will get the same tour guide, but our tour guide did not talk much during the trip, to and from; and also walked us to each of the three main attractions, then disappeared. In a way, we were allowed to do what we wanted, but little to no information at all on the attractions. And all the way back, the tour guide basically panhandled for tips to divide between him and the driver.

Amazing time!!! - Calum was hilarious!!! We were laughing so hard at his commentary! The trip was so fun & would totally recommend it to anyone. I loved the itinerary as well. We had enough time in Canterbury to eat a nice dinner in which Calum recommended. The place was so good!!!

Dover Castle, White Cliffs and Canterbury tour in a day - Historic tour of Dover Castle and war time tunnels, White Cliffs and Canterbury. Richard, our guide, was great - provided interesting commentary throughout the trip and kept things running smoothly. The history of Dover and the Castle is amazing - could easily have spent the day there. Canterbury and the Cathedral was beautiful too. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

A great experience - Our guide, Sam, provided a great balance between sharing information on the bus rides and giving us time to rest. We felt well prepared by Sam on our arrival at each site to know what highlights to prioritize during our free time at each location. Our driver Gareth gave us a smooth and safe ride. The coach was spotlessly clean. Pick up in the morning and evening drop off were exactly on time. A great experience and we will book with Anderson Tours again in the future.

People interested in... - People interested in military history would love the Dover Castle tour. The White Cliffs were gorgeous - fortunately we didn't have the fog.

A bit far for a London day trip but worth the multiple stops - My dad and I really enjoyed how this tour hit multiple stops instead of just the cliffs, and how it didn't just drive by the cliffs. For such a long drive, we wanted to make the most of it. Even still, we could have spent more time at the Canterbury Cathedral and Dover Castle because there is simply so much to take in. We are history buffs and particularly enjoyed learning the war history of the region, which is why we selected this tour in particular. We had a beautiful day with only a few clouds here and there, too! September was a great time of year to travel and our guide was very kind and helpful.

Be prepared to walk a lot - First off the bus was 30 minutes late, and the guide 25 minutes. There is a lot of hilly walking, and steps, so unless you have the capabilities and the knees for it, this tour is definitely not for you.
Now, Dover Castle does have a mobility bus but it isn't available at the moment because they're waiting on getting it fixed. When you go, that may not be an issue any longer but it was definitely an issue for one of the ladies in our group.
