Highly Recommended - It was a very nice trip to Luxor. We had a driver and a guide just for ourselves. So we didn't have to queue anywhere or wait for anyone. Our guide spoke very good German, explained everything to us very well and of course showed us around. It was a very nice experience that we would be happy to recommend.

Fantastic varied trip to Luxor - We had a fantastic day. Very varied and educational under the guidance of our sympathetic private guide and driver. The day started at 5.30am and after a short stop (including photo with Bedouin children) we drove along a route along the Nile where you get a good picture of Egypt as it really is to Luxor. The program there was both varied and instructive thanks to the extensive explanation of our guide. Karnak, Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon, carriage tour of Luxor with view of the temple of Luxor, boat trip on the Nile and visit to banana plantation, lunch, Temple of Hatshepsut, everything was perfectly arranged. The program also included a brief explanation of how to make papyrus and alabaster objects. Nothing could do. The guide is super and every question was answered efficiently. Even the do's and don'ts regarding purchases of souvenirs is explained.
We strongly recommend this trip to everyone and when we are back in Egypt we certainly call on the 2 sympathetic brothers who run this excursion company together. Don't hesitate, just book!!!

Excellent excursion and Organization - On 16-02-2018 a wonderful 1-day private excursion to Luxor made with our wonderful guide Ahmed Khalil and private driver Amr Farrag.
Organization keeps its agreements, fast and good "Dutch" communication via WhatsApps or e-mail (preferably WhatsApps).
Ahmed is very friendly and explains everything very well. Plenty of time to ask questions along the way. They are very helpful and explain everything well both from the viewings but also the do's and don'ts. Amr is a good driver.
We were picked up at 5:30 with a luxury car at the hotel and then after a short explanation drove through the first "tourist stop" in the desert to Luxor along the canal. This is a nice route where you can see the ordinary life of Egypt. The ride here alone is an experience in itself. Then to the Karnak temple, where we had to quickly get out of the car to visit the temple (this was just a little too fast to pack your things properly). After a tour with Ahmed who explained everything clearly had half an hour of free time. Then to the factory where they made papyrus (standard tourist stopover) where we then made the crossing on the Nile to the west side with the carriage ride to the taxi boat, to have our lunch useful. After lunch towards the Valley of the Kings, very beautiful and Ahmed advised us the most beautiful 3 tombs to visit which were then open out of 10. Then towards a factory (standard tourist stop) where they explained stone carving and making the hieroglyphs. After this stop towards the temple of Hatshepsut, where you are free to visit. Then stopped at the The Colossal statues of Memnon. After the same way back and stopover again at 19:30 back in Hurgharda, on the way Coke, water and for our son a bag of chips was fetched by Ahmed.
In short, a tiring but beautiful excursion, which is basically too short for everything to be seen. Yet the highlight of our holiday and certainly by the good guidance and kindness of Ahmed and Amr. Next time we book another excursion, we will definitely do so again via cheapholidaysegypte!
Thank you Ahmed and Amr for the unforgettable day!

Luxor Day Trip with Private Guide - We had a very successful day in Luxor. Seen a lot of impressive things. The guide (Mohamed) was friendly, spoke very good Dutch and had a lot of knowledge of (the history) of Egypt. He also took our wishes into account and was flexible. Highly recommended!

Well arranged, competitively priced excursion with friendly, knowledgeable Dutch speaking guide - We got expert explanations both on the way and on the spot with everything that was to see. So not only the sights, but also about daily life in Egypt. We especially appreciated the sincerity of the guide: we were warned about the well-known tourist traps and he kept pushy sellers away from us.
Lunch was excellent.
And all communication in Dutch, so easy!

Beautiful day with Marsa Alam Tours - Start this year with Marsa Alam Tours a perfect day trip to Luxir and Valley of Kings. Our Dutch speaking guide knew a lot to tell and also took us to the papyrus museum and a sculpture without us asking for it and it turned out to be very interesting. A long day but it was more than worth it. Thank you.

Excursion to Luxor with Dutch-speaking guide - Luxor is an open-air museum that you should not miss. From Hurghada it is four to five hours drive, but still very worthwhile. Karnak, Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Hatshepsut, boat trip on the Nile and by horse and carriage through the city - it was unforgettable!

A warm, but interesting day! - At 5 am we were picked up in our hotel by 2 friendly drivers. Along the way 1 stopover made in a quiet track café. Arriving in Luxor, our guide Mohammed was already waiting for us. Speaks very good Dutch! Muhammad has a lot of knowledge of the history of Egypt, and also conveys this very well. Lots of interesting sights seen, definitely worth it if you are interested in Egyptian history!
Mohammed, thank you for the nice day! Despite the warmth, we enjoyed it and learned a lot.

interesting Luxor day with guide Mohamed - We had booked our Egypt trip with Tui, but fortunately we had arranged two excursions in advance through tripadvisor (excursion segypte). That turned out to be much cheaper and smoother than the excursions we could book in our remote hotel!
There was a small misunderstanding when picking up at our hotel, but after a phone call that quickly came up to scratch. We were pampered with our family (two adults and three children between 12 and 17) all day by our guide Mohamed and the two drivers. The car with excellent air conditioning was not a luxury (over 40° in July) during the four-hour drive to Luxor, and the smaller distances between the temples.
Mohamed arranged everything for us (entrance fees and so on) and gave interesting explanations in good Dutch. He also smoothly changed the schedule according to our preferences or the heat and so on.
There were two visits to shops (papyrus and pots), but we got interesting info there and we were certainly not obliged to buy anything (you do, of course;)). For a carriage ride in Luxor and the crossing on the Nile we had to pay something extra, but that was certainly not an exaggeration. This trip is definitely recommended with excursion segypte

The heat took away some of the fun - The ride was an experience in itself, the road in the desert is beautiful, but as soon as we arrive in the villages it is very dangerous but we arrived in one room .The awaited us Odia our guide who explained to us in broad outline the Valley of the Magnificent Kings to see absolutely ,then the temple of Apchetsout where we did not have the heart of ascent seen the more than 50 degrees. Finally the day was very informative, too bad that the guide was constantly on the phone .We would have had many more questions to ask ,but it is rare that we are answered frankly .We think that is the watchword with this training.
